Braves Score 6 Runs In 2nd And Albies Hit 2 HR’s To Beat Blue Jays 9 – 5!

Atlanta Braves NewsThe game tonight was one of Mike Foltynewicz best games of the year.

I know his final line may not look that way but he threw a masterpiece.

Folty made one bad pitch and that was a hanger that Devon Travis hit for the grand slam HR in the 7th.

If they are able to make the play on the infield hit to the batter before they get out of the inning.

Foltynewicz was throwing a one hitter through six inning.

Folty’s final line was IP: 6.2 | H: 6 | R: 5 | BB: 2 | K: 6 | HR: 2.

The Braves offense came alive in the 2nd inning when they scored 6 runs.

Braves all-star second basemen Ozzie Albies put on a show by hitting two HR.

He hit a solo HR in the 6th inning and then a 2-run HR in the 8th inning.

Albies ended up with 4 RBI’s for the game.

Injury update on Ender Inciarte is that he is listed as day to day after being hit by a pitch from Gaviglio in the 1st inning.

Braves ended up scoring 9 runs on 12 hits.

Great Game giving the Braves their 51st victory for the year.

Go Braves!  Chop On Braves Country!

About Bob Griggs

I became an Atlanta Braves Fan in the spring of 1974. I was in first grade and Hank Aaron was chasing Babe Ruth for the all-time home run king. Back in 1974 things were different than they are now. You could not just watch every game on television. Because of the event the networks would interrupt programming and show Hank Aaron batting until he broke the home run record. Since then I have always been an Atlanta Braves Fan.
