Stanton's 3-Run HR Powers Yankees Over Braves 6-2

Julio Teheran started of the game with three strikeouts in the first inning.  I thought he pitched pretty well except for the 3-run homerun to Giancarlo Stanton on an 0-2 pitch.  That pitch was really the game.

Pitchers just can’t give the Yankees power hitters pitches that they can drive to right field.  The Right field fence is so short if you get it up in the air it will be a homerun.

The Braves offense had their best opportunity in the top of first inning.  CC Sabathia was in trouble with the bases loaded.  But the Braves could not score.  Ozzie Alibies had a good game with three hits.  Johan Camargo collected his 9th homerun of the year with a solo homerun in the to of the sixth inning.

Now the Braves are off to Milwaukee for an important four game series with the first place Brewers.

Now let’s get to the play by play of this afternoon loss to the Yankees!
