Brewers Score 5 In The 3rd To Beat Braves!

Brewers Score 5 In The 3rd To Beat BravesThe Braves tonight once again took the lead in the first inning.

Braves pitcher Mike Foltynewicz pitched fine except for two pitches in the 3rd inning.  Tyler Saladino hit a two run homer and Jesus Aguilar hit a three run homer.  Other that the 3rd inning he pitched a great game.

The Braves offense came back in the seventh with three runs but should have scored more.

The play that really hurt the Braves was in the ninth inning.  Dansby Swanson was on first and tried to steal second and was called out.  The Braves challenged the call but lost the challenge.  In my opinion he looked safe!

Ronald Acuna Jr. is not sure whether he will play tomorrow.  Acuna Jr. said, “I understand and I don’t think it’s anything serious.” The Braves took him out just to be cautious so he would not make the injury any worse.

The Braves outhit the Brewers 9 to 7.  But where it counts the Brewers had one more run to have the victory tonight.

Now let’s get to the play by play of tonight’s loss to the Brewers!

About Bob Griggs

I became an Atlanta Braves Fan in the spring of 1974. I was in first grade and Hank Aaron was chasing Babe Ruth for the all-time home run king. Back in 1974 things were different than they are now. You could not just watch every game on television. Because of the event the networks would interrupt programming and show Hank Aaron batting until he broke the home run record. Since then I have always been an Atlanta Braves Fan.
